Reading Tutoring
I offer personalized reading tutoring for all ages, with a focus on skill-building, homework support, and progress monitoring — helping your child grow academically and confidently.
Ongoing Support & Communication
I provide consistent support through email and phone, ensuring you stay informed, involved, and empowered throughout your child’s educational journey.
My passion for advocacy started early — growing up with a sister who has a rare disease and spending much of my life volunteering with individuals with diverse needs. I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for families to get the support their children deserve.
I’ve worked in public schools as a Special Education Teacher at the elementary and middle school levels, and supported adults with developmental disabilities at Temple University. I now help families navigate IEPs, 504 plans, and school-based services with clarity and confidence.

About Aviva
What Families Are Saying
“I had the privilege of working with Aviva from Advocacy with Aviva over the past few months, and I couldn't be more grateful for her expertise and support. She guided me through my daughter's IEP, coaching me on correspondence, reviewing the lEP, and making thoughtful recommendations during the meeting. Having her on my team was the best decision I made for my child's education!”

“Aviva has been working with me and my son since October. He’s in 4th grade and has a hard time with reading and staying organized. She tutors him every week and noticed early on that he was really struggling in school. She suggested we ask the school for an IEP evaluation and helped me fill out the paperwork. She also joined a meeting with the school and was really helpful in coming up with a plan. She even sends tools and resources the school can use to support him. I really appreciate her help and would recommend her.”
